Home Room focuses on the 5 areas that have been identified as areas of need for Home School Parents.  Home Room provides supplemental education and specific skill learning for home school students.  The 5 areas of subject matter that Home School Parents have identified as needs are.

Our MATH program is designed to create competence and confidence in math skills.  As strudents travel through their math journey as Learners they begin to understand that math is not a path but a staircase to the next step requiring understanding and mastery of the previous step.   Proper understanding and fundamentals as essential to prevent an educational path of struggle and hardship.  We ONLY employ true mathematicians to teach our student body.

SCIENCE is of the utmost importance in any society and we strive to offer not only the most rigorous coursework but the highest degree of teaching to create an environment where students find a passion for science and thirst for it's knowledge.  So many careers are based on a high level understanding o science.  American education has taken a step back in the desire to be a leader in the science community and this trend must be reversed.  

We believe that education is a collaborative effort between students, families, and educators. At Home School Academy School, we are committed to fostering strong relationships with our students' families and the broader community. We offer a variety of ways for families and community members to get involved and support our school.

Our world is a much smaller place than it was 30 years ago.  The need to speak and understand a second language is paramount.  Understanding a second language will provide opportunities far beyond only knowing English.   As an employer, an Employee, a traveler or just someone curious about the world, knowing a second language provides so much.  In nearly every civilized country outside of America, kids are required to learn a 2nd and even a 3rd language. 

Schools no longer offer life skill training, but they absolutely should.  Home Room offers a diverse choice of classes and courses that focus on things other than reading, writing and arithmetic.    Having your Phd, being a Doctor, Lawyer or Engineer is wonderful but what if they can't cook a meal, balance a checkbook, or fix a plumbing leak.   Each semester we create a menu of electives to participate in.
